How a move works
MMS will install shipping brackets and remove major components such as the tailstock and workhead. All disconnected hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical connections are labeled for reinstallation. Fluids are drained if required. Tooling, manuals, and accessories are gathered and boxed up to ship with the machine.
MMS can coordinate with your rigger and freight partners, or recommend rigging providers we've worked with.
On installation, we verify correct electrical connections and voltage, level the machine, reconnect all pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical connections, reinstall any major components that were removed prior to the move, and install accessories. Upon completion, we verify all functions are working correctly.
When to call us early
The least expensive move is the one you plan in advance. Calling MMS before you commit to a move — or before you buy a used grinder that needs to be relocated — assures the move will be controlled and every step moves smoothly.
